Food and Items to Donate

Personal Care and Hygiene: Includes items such as soap, shampoo, deodorant.

Grains and Cereals: Includes items such as packaged rice, oatmeal, popcorn, crackers, breakfast cereals.

Canned Fruits and Vegetables: Any canned, non-perishable fruits or vegetables. 

Canned Meals: Any canned, non-perishable meals or meats.

Dinner Sides and Helper Meals: Includes items such as mashed potato boxes, hamburger helper, boxed muffin mixes.

Baking Items: Includes items such as sugar, flour, oil, baking powder.

Condiments: Includes items such as ketchup, salsa, mustard, barbecue sauces.

Fresh Fruits and Vegetables: Anything fresh.


Where to Drop it Off 

Donations of food may be dropped off at the Farmington Food Shelf from 11am-5:30pm on Mondays or Thursdays. For large donations (more than a few bags of groceries), please call ahead at 651-460-3819 or contact us by email at farmingtonmnfoodshelf@gmail.com. This will allow us to have enough space and volunteers to handle your donation.

If You Would Like to Make a Financial Donation:

Checks can be dropped off at the Farmington Food Shelf during open hours (Monday, noon to 6:00 and Thursday, noon to 6:00), or at Farmington Lutheran Church (20600 Akin Road), at the receptionist desk. Additionally, check may be mailed to:
